The first comparison I'll keep simple, I will take a look at the two punk rock bands Rancid and NOFX covering each others tunes.They released an album 'BYO Split Series Volume III' in 2002 where they covered 6 of each others tracks (which Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion produced).
